SUPPORT OLH FOUNDATION
We have big plans for the youth of Central Texas!
Thank you for the opportunity to present our organization. We are the OLH Foundation of Taylor, Texas and we are on a mission to enrich children through sports, mentorship, and, eventually, career path exposure. However, our current goal is to provide the youth of Taylor and surrounding areas with athletic opportunities regardless of their socio-economic status.
Our first community initiative is a summer track team called Flash Fleet. The announcement garnered amazing support from the community, averaging 45 athletes for the 2019 and 2021 seasons. The average registration fee for summer track teams is $300 per athlete. To better serve the community, we set our registration fee at the lowest possible price to ease the strain on single-parent and multi-child homes. Last season, we secured a grant that allowed us to lower our registration fees to $75. However, there are still children that need support in order to participate. We are working tirelessly to provide the youth of Central Texas with activities that inspire achievement and keep them on a positive path.
Our 2022 fundraising goal is $8,000. This number is based on a budget of $250 per athlete, which includes water and snacks at meets and practices, with modest enrollment growth to 50 athletes.
A donation from your business will allow multiple children to participate with minimal fees and possibly support additional team expenses such as equipment for field events, travel arrangements, refreshments, and attire (t-shirts, spikes, and backpacks).
